Ammo depot at Crimea training ground hit - reports

In the Kirovsky district in the temporarily occupied Crimea, at the Starokrymsky training ground, an ammunition depot detonated reportedly as a result of a strike.

Traffic along the Tavrida highway has been suspended, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reports, according to Ukrinform.

"At the Starokrymsky training ground near the village of Krynychki, an ammunition depot was hit. Munitions continue to detonate," the posting says.

It is noted that explosions can be heard even in the Feodosia area, where local residents report loud blasts.

Crimean Gauleiter Sergey Aksyonov reported on Telegram that the Tavrida highway was closed due to a “fire” at the training ground.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on July 17, around four in the morning, a section of the Kerch Strait bridge collapsed following an explosion.
