Russians launch eight strikes of border areas of Sumy region

On the night of July 18 and on the morning of July 19, Russian troops launched eight strikes on border communities of Sumy region.

"At night and in the morning, the Russians launched eight strikes on border communities, 48 explosions were recorded. Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, Krasnopillia, and Khotin communities came under fire," the Sumy Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

In particular, mortar strikes (six explosions) and automatic grenade launcher strikes (two explosions) were launched on Bilopillia community from the territory of the Russian Federation.

"Seredyna-Buda community: 10 mortar explosions were recorded. Krasnopillia community: the enemy fired artillery (five explosions) and automatic grenade launchers (12 explosions). Khotin community: mortar shelling (13 explosions)," the Administration noted.

According to preliminary data, civilians were not injured and civilian infrastructure was not damaged.

Moreover, air defense forces shot down four enemy Shahed drones in Sumy region last night.
