Damage as Russian airstrike hits village in Kherson region

After Russian aviation attacked Zmiivka in Kherson region, damage was reported while information on casualties is currently being clarified.

That’s according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian aviation attacked Zmiivka in Beryslav community," the report says.

Three hits of guided aerial bombs were recorded – at a local cemetery, a residential quarter, and a farm.

At least four residential buildings were damaged as a result of the enemy attack, as were the local farm premises.

Casualty reports are being verified, the Regional Military Administration says. According to tentative reports from the ground, one local resident was affected. He has been out of reach since the strike.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russians fired 69 artillery shells at Kherson and Mykolaiv regions throughout the day, as a result of which one person was injured.
