Canada hands blast suits to Ukrainian bomb disposal technicians
Two dozen special blast suits purchased by Canada have arrived in Ukraine.
This was announced by the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"20 more blast suits from Canada have just been delivered to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine," reads a tweet posted by the Embassy press service.
It is noted that these suits "will help save lives while clearing unexploded ordnance."
This is part of a batch of demining equipment worth a total of $22.5 million that Canada is providing to the State Emergency Service, noted the Canadian diplomatic mission.
It should be recalled that, according to official data, the enemy has mined up to 30% of the Ukrainian territory.
