Ukraine gets additional air defense capabilities - Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine held a conference call on the supply of weapons and ammunition, strengthening the nation’s air defense system, and the latest front-line developments.

The president announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Daily conference call. I heard the latest reports on the supply of weapons and ammunition. There is reinforcement for our air defense system. It will be deployed where it’s most needed now," Zelensky wrote.

Also, the GUR defense intelligence and the SZR foreign intelligence service reported on the latest enemy and their immediate plans, while the SBU security service briefed the president on progress of counter-intelligence inquiries across the country.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, reported on the offensive and defensive efforts along the entire line of contact.

"We believe in our guys. We will continue our work," the president emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, nearly 20 combat clashes took place between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops over the past day.
