One killed, four wounded as Russians drop bomb on village in Kharkiv region

Russia’s occupation forces dropped a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb on the village of Kivsharivka in Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, overnight Thursday.

That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, the chief of the regional military administration, Ukrinform reports.

“Last night, the enemy attacked the village of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk district with a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb. A hit was recorded next to a 5-storey residential building. The house was damaged, a wall collapsed in one of the apartments. A nearby 9-storey residential block was also damaged,” the report reads.

Unfortunately, a 74-year-old woman died. Women aged 35, 81 and 71, as well as a 74-year-old man, were injured, the official added.

Also, at night, a S-300 missile hit a non-residential building in Velykyi Burluk village, Kupiansk district. A building was damaged and a fire broke out.

Over the past day, Russian artillery, mortars, and other weapons hit populated areas in the Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Izium, Chuhuyiv, and Kupiansk districts.

Forest fires were reported, while in the village of Ivashky, a local lyceum building was damaged by mortar fire. In the village In Perovske, a critical infrastructure object was damaged by mortar shelling. No casualties were reported.
