Russians attack port in Odesa region at night, killing one

As a result of a night attack on the Odesa region by Kalibr missiles, the port's administrative building was destroyed, production facilities were damaged, and a security guard was killed.

This was stated by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of the Operational Command South, on the air of the telethon 'United News', according to Ukrinform.

"Last night we can state that the enemy launched another powerful attack, including on the south of Ukraine, using unmanned aerial vehicles and preconditions for a powerful storm and thunderstorm," she informed.

The spokeswoman noted that the enemy sent the Shaheds to the central regions of Ukraine, bypassing the south through the temporarily occupied territories.

"That's why we observed that they were moving where the area of destruction is inaccessible to us," explained Humeniuk.

At the same time, she noted that after the wave of Shaheds, at the beginning of the storm, the enemy insidiously used Kalibres from the Black Sea, hitting the port infrastructure of the Odesa region.

"One administrative building was destroyed and a security guard was killed in one of the ports. Some production facilities at one of the port terminals were also damaged," the spokeswoman said.
