Russian missile attack on Odesa causes more than UAH 4.3B of damage
Environmentalists say that Russia's missile attack on the Prymorskyi and Khadzhybeiskyi districts of Odesa early on June 14 caused more than UAH 4.3 billion of damage to nature.
The State Environmental Inspectorate for the South-Western District said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
In the Prymorskyi district, ecologists recorded the contamination of land plots with a total area of more than 9,000 square meters with construction waste and missile debris due to damage to the Shevchenkivskyi business center, a McDonald's restaurant, an Eva store, and the educational building of the Odesa Polytechnic National University.
In the Khadzhybeiskyi district, damage to the logistics center of Tavriia-V LLC caused the contamination of a 6,600-square-meter land plot.
"The total amount of damage caused by the pollution of land resources exceeds UAH 4.3 billion," the agency said.
