Two wounded as Russian forces shell Kherson region 69 times on July 29

The Russian army launched 69 shelling attacks on the Kherson region on Saturday, July 29, wounding two people.

Kherson region governor Oleksandr Prokudin said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the last 24 hours, the enemy launched 69 shelling attacks, having fired 313 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, aircraft and UAVs. The enemy fired 44 shells at the city of Kherson," the post reads.

The Russian military struck residential areas in the region and a plant in Kherson.

Two people were wounded by Russian shelling.

Early on Saturday, July 29, the Russians attacked the village of Vesele, damaging residential buildings. A 69-year-old woman was injured.
