Fedorov: Russians deport 250 children from occupied territories, find new families for them
The Russians took 250 children from the temporarily occupied territories and supposedly found them new families. Another 1,000 minors are in so-called recreation camps.
"Children are one of the most vulnerable categories of the population in the temporarily occupied territories whom the enemy is trying to influence. The enemy stole 250 children from the temporarily occupied territory and supposedly found them new families in Russia. It will be extremely difficult to return these children after de-occupation," Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov posted on Telegram.
According to him, the enemy took more than 1,000 little Ukrainians to camps, supposedly for recreation. But this "rest" is not about recreation but about propaganda.
"Education" under the occupation is a system of destroying Ukrainian identity and militarizing the youth," the mayor believes.
As reported, the Russian invaders threaten residents of the temporarily occupied territories for finding photos with the state flag of Ukraine or Ukrainian music on their phones.
