Death toll from rocket attack in Kryvyi Rih rises to four
The death toll from a missile attack by Russian troops on Kryvyi Rih has risen to four.
The State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"As of 12:10, four people were killed and 43 were injured. The State Emergency Service units rescued three people, including a child born in 2013, 30 people were evacuated," the statement reads.
230 people and 57 units of equipment are involved in the search and rescue operations, including 85 rescuers and 22 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service.
The work is ongoing.
A ten-year-old child was among the four people killed in the missile attack.
Sergey Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to the company.
"There are already four dead in Kryvyi Rih... Among them is a 10-year-old child," the statement said.
Lysak noted that there may still be people under the rubble.
As reported, on Monday, July 31, Russian troops fired missiles at Kryvyi Rih, hitting a residential high-rise building and an educational institution. Initially, one person was reported dead and ten injured.
