Injury toll in Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih rises to 53
The number of those injured in a Russian missile attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, this morning has increased to 53, including five children.
Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhii Lysak said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"There are already 53 injured. Five of them are children," the post said.
Lysak said that almost 150 residents had gotten out of the mutilated high-rise building on their own. Rescuers also helped 30 more people to leave the building.
At around 09:00 on July 31, the Russians struck Kryvyi Rih with two missiles, targeting an apartment building and an educational institution. At least four people have been killed in the attack. There could also be people under the rubble.
