Russia’s shelling of Kherson: At least 10 civilians injured, child among them
Today, two civilians have been killed and at least 10 injured in Russian shelling of the city of Kherson. Four volunteers and a child are among those injured.
The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As of 03:30 p.m., following the shelling of the regional center, at least 10 civilians were injured. Four volunteers and an underage boy are among those injured. The details are yet to be checked. Shelling continues,” the report states.
On the morning of July 31, 2023, Russian occupiers struck downtown Kherson. One municipal worker was killed, and four of his colleagues were injured.
Around 11:00 a.m., Russian troops shelled a residential microdistrict in Kherson. A man, 65, who was driving a car at the moment of the enemy attack, received numerous shrapnel injuries and died.
Pre-trial investigations are underway for the violation of the laws and customs of war.
