Morgues in occupied Luhansk region overcrowded with dead bodies of invaders

Losses of the Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region increased significantly, resulting in overcrowded local morgues.

"The casualty rate in the units of the occupying forces has increased significantly. The Russians do not have time to physically remove the bodies of the dead from the local morgues. Such a situation has been seen in Svatove where a relevant institution has been overcrowded for a week as evidenced by the corpse smell around," Artem Lysohor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

In Starobilsk, the invaders forcibly transferred a significant part of the personnel from civilian hospitals to their military hospitals to provide assistance to the wounded invaders, causing a lack of doctors to treat local residents.

Lysohor added that the invaders did not stop the artillery pressure, striking the positions of the Ukrainian troops and the territory of villages near the front line. Nevske and Bilohorivka come under gun, Grad MLRS, and mortar fire daily.

"The enemy also attacks from the air. Yesterday, an airstrike was launched on Bilohorivka and the villages of Donetsk region located near the administrative border with Luhansk region," Lysohor said.

As reported, 109 bodies of Russian soldiers were brought to a morgue in occupied Pervomaysk, Luhansk region.
