Russians intensify assault actions in Kupiansk sector but have no success

Russian troops have intensified assault actions in the Kupiansk direction but have no success and are suffering losses.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Currently, the enemy has intensified assaults on the positions of our military. However, they have no success. The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflict huge losses on them and do not concede a single meter of territory to them,” Syniehubov told.

Meanwhile, Russian invaders launch attacks on Ukrainian settlements. Yesterday, Russians struck the Kupiansk district’s Shevchenkove with the S-300 missiles.

On the morning of August 1, 2023, fifteen border settlements were affected by Russian shelling in the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Bohodukhiv districts.

A reminder that, on July 28, 2023, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov mentioned that Russia’s offensive pace had slowed down in the Kupiansk direction, as enemy troops were rotating to resume assault actions.
