Kyiv’s air defense shoots down all incoming Russian drones overnight Wed

Groups of kamikaze drones attacked Kyiv simultaneously from multiple directions. However, air defense forces detected and destroyed all aerial targets amounting to over ten UAVs.

That’s according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Another mass attack of the enemy involving attack UAVs. According to tentative reports, the enemy used barrage ammunition of the Shahed type. Groups of drones were flying toward Kyiv simultaneously from multiple directions. However, our air defense detected and destroyed all aerial targets – more than 10 unmanned aerial vehicles – on time," wrote the head of the KCMA, Serhiy Popko.

The debris touched down in the Solomyanskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Svyatoshynskyi districts. Several non-residential premises and road surface sustained damage.

"No serious destruction or fires. There are no reports on casualties," Popko said, noting that the operational reports required further verification.
