In one day, Russians shell Kherson region 74 times, one killed, eight injured
Russian troops fired 74 times at the Kherson region over the past day, killing one person and injuring eight civilians.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Over the past day, the enemy made 74 attacks, firing 441 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy fired 31 shells at the city of Kherson," the statement said.
Russian troops shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, the territory and building of a medical facility in Kherson, and an educational institution in the Beryslav district.
"One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of Russian aggression," noted Prokudin.
As reported, on August 1, Russian troops shelled a medical facility in Kherson, killing a doctor and injuring five people.
