No taboo on striking Russia using Ukrainian-made weapons - NSDC secretary

There is no ban on using domestically manufactured weapons against targets located in Russian territory, says Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

That’s according to Danilov’s comment voiced at the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"And how can we have a taboo if the aggressor state launched a huge military campaign against us. If they kill our children almost every day - what taboos are we talking about?" he said.

Danilov noted that Ukraine has an agreement with partners that it will not use their weapons against targets on Russian soil.

This is necessary so that the partners are not accused of allegedly being involved in Russia's war against Ukraine.

At the same time, this ban does not apply to weapons developed by the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, noted the NSDC secretary.

"I’d like to note that we have certain gains from this. And not everything can be revealed but at least what CNN journalists learned about maritime drones — well, these are generally things that a very limited number of countries have in service," Danilov said.

According to him, such weapons perform their combat missions "perfectly".

As Ukrinform reported earlier, several unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the Russian capital several times over the past few days, hitting the same building in the Moscow-City business district twice.
