Ukraine's Offensive Guard soldiers already fighting on southern and eastern fronts - National Guard

Ukraine's Offensive Guard soldiers are already performing tasks on the front line, including on the eastern and southern axis.

Colonel Mykola Urshalovych, acting director of the Planning Department for the Use of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, said this at a briefing at the Military Media Center, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Now, as part of battalions and some crews, Offensive Guard soldiers are already performing their tasks, that is, they have engaged in battles," the colonel said.

He noted that National Guard units "Bureviy" and "Rubizh" are currently conducting defensive operations on the eastern borders, whereas units of the "Sparta," "Kara-Dag" and "Chervona Kalyna" brigades are already successfully participating in the Ukrainian offensive on the southern axis.

Earlier reports said that units of a Ukrainian National Guard brigade had advanced 650 meters deep into the enemy's defenses and entrenched themselves on the achieved lines.
