Front, NPP protection, shelters: Ukraine's president meets with interior minister
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a long and comprehensive meeting with Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.
The president heard a report on the protection and defense of nuclear facilities, the training of National Guard soldiers, other Interior Ministry units, and the supply of ammunition and equipment.
Klymenko also briefed Zelensky on the current situation in the regions affected by Russia's destruction of the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant and the ministry's work to eliminate the consequences of the disaster and provide people with basic needs.
"We talked about the implementation of the decisions made by the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, including those related to the inspection of shelters and control over their availability and suitability," Zelensky said.
The minister also spoke about the criminogenic situation in the country, the fight against fraud and other violations.
