Explosions reported in Crimea, Novorossiysk
Explosions and gunfire were heard in Novorossiysk (Krasnodar region, Russia) and temporarily occupied Crimea due to a likely sea drone attack early on Friday, August 4.
That's according to Telegram channels, Ukrinform reports.
Reports of explosions in temporarily occupied Feodosia began to arrive after 03:30. Eyewitnesses reported numerous explosions. They also wrote about the work of Russian air defenses and the sound of drones.
In a comment to the propaganda news outlet RIA-Novosti, the so-called adviser to the head of Crimea, Kryuchkov, reported on the work of the air defense forces.
Meanwhile, in Novorossiysk (Krasnodar region), explosions rang out at around 05:00 from the direction of the Black Sea, and then gunfire was heard.
According to Russian Telegram channels, explosions on the water and gunfire were heard in the area of Myskhako. It was also reported that a sea drone came under fire from a boat.
According to locals, the drone burst into flames, followed by a loud explosion.
The local authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
