Kremlin propaganda aiming to undermine trust between Ukraine, partners – intel

The main objectives of Russian propaganda at the current stage are to destroy the internal unity of Ukrainian society and undermine trust between Ukraine and its partners.

The relevant statement was made by Vadym Skibitskyi, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, in an interview with civilmedia.mk, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to the directorate’s press service.

According to Skibitskyi, the Kremlin propaganda’s internal efforts are aimed at fueling the myth that today’s Russia is still retaining the ability to develop.

Skibitskyi mentioned that, following Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine began to counter Russian propaganda more actively.

“Our main weapon in this process is the truth. Ukraine’s defense intelligence, for example, has become more open: we publish facts, certain intelligence data that reveal the aggressor’s intentions, disclose the evidence of Russian war crimes,” Skibitskyi explained.

In his words, this approach has proven to be effective: Russia cannot achieve its main goals and, thus, is losing the information war.
