Over week, Ukrainian Defense Forces destroy over 340 units of Russian military equipment - Malyar
Over the past week, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed more than 340 pieces of enemy military equipment.
Hanna Malyar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, said this on the air of the national telethon 'United News', according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Last week, about 30 people were taken prisoner in the East and South. More than 340 pieces of military equipment were destroyed, including tanks, mortars, howitzers and even rocket launchers... More than 70 places of compact concentration of personnel, i.e. enemy fighters were destroyed. About 10 control points were destroyed, this information is still being clarified. 15 anti-aircraft missile systems, more than 60 artillery pieces, ammunition with about 10 stockpiles," said Malyar.
She noted that last week, the ‘Sontsepek’ multiple rocket launcher system was destroyed.
Also last week, 68 of 87 'Shahed' drones launched at Ukraine were destroyed. 17 of 20 'Kalibr' cruise missiles were destroyed. In addition, 34 'Lancet' drones were destroyed.
As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 250,240 Russian invaders from February 24, 2022, to August 7, 2023, and another 540 people over the past day.
