Russian troops launch 69 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region on Aug 6
Russian troops shelled Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region 69 times on August 6, damaging 15 facilities.
Zaporizhzhia region governor Yurii Malashko said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to the statement, 24 settlements came under fire.
"In the last 24 hours, the enemy carried out 61 artillery attacks on Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Zaliznychne, Preobrazhenka, Pryiutne, Novodarivka, Novoandriivka, Huliaipilske, Olhivske, Malynivka, Charivne, Chervone, Levadne, Temyrivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Shcherbaky, Stepove, Piatykhatky, Lobkove, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske and Novoivanivka. Three airstrikes were launched on Orikhiv. Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Malynivka, Huliaipilske and Lobkove came under MLRS fire," he wrote.
Fifteen reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. People were not hurt.
