Invaders killed two people, injured ten more in Kharkiv region over past day

Russian invaders killed two people and injured ten more, including two rescuers of the State Emergency Service and two police officers, in Kharkiv region over the past day.

“As a result of an enemy attack by air bombs on the village of Kruhliakivka, Kupyansk district, six houses were damaged, a 45-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man were killed. Of the five civilians injured, four were hospitalized, Also, two employees of the State Emergency Service, aged 22 and 46, and two National Police officers, aged 21 and 24, were injured and hospitalized,” Oleh Syniehubov, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

According to his data, all hospitalized patients are in moderate condition, there is no threat to their lives.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army fired artillery, mortars, and other weapons at populated settlements of Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupyansk districts.

In Kupyansk district, a 63-year-old resident of Petropavlivka was injured. In Kucherivka, buildings of civilian enterprises were damaged, and a forest fire broke out.

In Kupyansk, residential buildings were damaged by Russian shelling, there were fires, and outbuildings were damaged in Cherneshchyna, Izium district.

According to Syniehubov, bomb technicians of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 8 ha of territory and defused 55 explosive objects over the past day.

Fighting continues in Kupyansk direction.

"Last night, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to go on the offensive in the areas of Synkivka and north of Ivanivka. Under the fire of our defenders, the enemy retreated with losses," the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added.
