Defense forces continue offensive near Robotyne village in Zaporizhzhia region

The Ukrainian military continues offensive operations near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

Spokesman for the Tavria Defense Forces Valerii Shershen said this on the air of the nationwide telethon "United News", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today, our troops in the Tavria direction continue offensive actions in the area of Robotyne. Actions are underway to destroy the enemy and reduce the number of occupiers on our land. We have certain advances of hundreds of meters," said Shershen.

According to him, there is also positive movement in the Berdiansk direction. The defense forces are advancing despite the opposition of enemy units "Storm", "Storm Z", paratroopers, and special forces. "Their number and quality are changing, they are becoming more prepared. They are already engaging second-line reserves. There are more marines and paratroopers, and separate groups of special forces are working," added the spokesman.
