Border guards shoot down enemy reconnaissance UAV near Avdiivka

In the Donetsk direction, border guards shot down an enemy reconnaissance drone using an anti-drone rifle.  

 This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, according to Ukrinform.

"Yesterday, an anti-drone unit of border guards neutralized an enemy reconnaissance drone above a stronghold near Avdiivka," the statement reads.

The Russians tried to use a drone to reconnoiter the position of Ukrainian Forces and equipment in this area.

"The flight of the enemy's quadcopter over the cover sector was stopped by the border guards with a 'shot' from an anti-drone rifle. The operator of a special technical device disrupted the UAV control channel and the uncontrolled drone fell into an inaccessible area," the SBGS noted.

As reported, overnight, the Defense Forces destroyed eight enemy ammunition depots in the Tavria direction.
