Russian forces shell Kherson region 66 times, two civilians injured

On August 8, the Russian army struck Kherson region 66 times, injuring two civilians.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, during the past day, the enemy launched 66 attacks on the region. The occupiers fired 365 projectiles from mortars, artillery, Grad MLRS, tanks, drones and aircraft.

Prokudin noted that the Russian military targeted residential areas in the region’s settlements. As a result of the Russian aggression, two people were injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy targeted a residential building in the village of Mykilske in Kherson region, injuring a 50-year-old woman.
