Russian forces injured two civilians in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region on Tuesday, August 8.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.

He said the Russians had wounded two civilians in Yampil and Mykolaivka.

In addition, Kyrylenko said, it was possible to establish information about two more people killed and 11 wounded in a Russian missile attack on Pokrovsk on August 7.

Currently, it is impossible to establish the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko said.

Late on August 7, the Russian army struck Pokrovsk with two Iskander missiles, hitting a residential high-rise building and then rescuers and law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene. Nine people were killed, including a State Emergency Service employee, and 82 others injured in the attack.
