Defense forces destroy eight enemy ammo depots in Tavria sector
Artillery units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine performed 1,545 fire missions in the Tavria direction in the past day. The Russian army lost 244 soldiers killed, wounded and captured (93 killed, 150 wounded, and one captured).
General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, 18 units of Russian military equipment were also destroyed, including three tanks, six armoured fighting vehicles, three artillery systems and mortars, two anti-aircraft guns, an unmanned aerial vehicle and three vehicles.
In addition, eight enemy ammunition depots and a control/command observation post were destroyed.
As Ukrinform reported, from February 24, 2022 to August 9, 2023, Ukraine’s Defense Forces eliminated about 251,620 Russian invaders, including 820 occupiers in the past day alone.
