Missile attack on Zaporizhzhia: three killed, nine injured
As a result of yesterday's Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia, three people were killed and nine others were injured, including a child.
Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Three dead and nine injured, including an 11-month-old child - the result of a strike on the regional center. A Russian missile killed a 43-year-old man and young women aged 19 and 21," he said.
According to police, the enemy fired an X-35 missile at the city.
Earlier it was reported that in the evening, Russian troops launched a missile attack on a residential area of Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the hit, an outbuilding caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by the State Emergency Service. The blast wave damaged windows in nearby residential buildings, shops, and other civilian infrastructure.
Two people died as a result of the missile strike, and another woman died at night in the hospital.
Law enforcement officers collected evidence of Russian war crimes. Police and SBU investigators opened criminal proceedings over the incident. The legal classification is Part 1, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code.
