In Luhansk region, citizens allowed to participate in pseudo-elections even on oral application - RMA
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, Russian invaders are planning to hold elections of the so-called 'deputies of the LPR People's Council' under a simplified procedure, with an oral application being sufficient.
This was reported by the Luhansk Regional Military Administration on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
In order to increase the attendance rate at the pseudo-elections, it was decided to hold early voting at polling stations outside the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, the statement said.
"In other words, in different regions of the Russian Federation, people registered in Luhansk Oblast will elect not the country's leadership, but the so-called 'deputies of the LPR People's Council' a few days before the election day," the RMA noted.
In order to vote at such a polling station, a voter must submit an application. It is even allowed to do it orally.
According to the RMA, the Kremlin leadership has set a task to provide all high school students in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region with new history books by September 1. They already include chapters on the territories of Ukraine occupied between 2014 and 2022.
"In the 11th grade book, the chapters from the 1970s to the 2000s have been radically rewritten. In a year and a half, the history of the last half of the century has once again changed in Russia," the RMA noted.
According to the head of the Military Administration Artem Lysogor, despite the danger and complicated logistics, residents of the liberated settlements continue to receive fresh bread, other food and hygiene products from the Military Administration and volunteer organizations. This week it is the residents of the Krasnorichenske community.
As Ukrinform reported, in the Luhansk region, the invaders are replacing local collaborators with officials from Russia.
