Zaluzhnyi meets with UK’s Defense Staff chief in Kyiv
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin have discussed the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army at a meeting in Kyiv.
According to Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi said this in a post on Telegram.
"A constructive meeting with our British partners," he noted.
Together with the guest, Zaluzhnyi worked at one of the command posts.
The Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces told Admiral Radakin about the situation along the frontline, as well as the course of Ukraine’s offensive and defensive operations, and thanked the partners for their support.
As Ukrinform reported, on August 11, Ukraine and the United Kingdom started the first round of negotiations on security guarantees.
