Two injured as Russian missile strike hits industrial facility in Dnipro
A woman, 59, sustained minor injuries from a Russian missile strike on Dnipro, while another injured local man, 70, was hospitalized in moderate condition.
That’s according to the chief of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, Ukrinform reports.
“The blaze covered more than 800 square meters in total. It was contained. I thank our rescuers for their coordinated work,” the official wrote on Telegram.
“My gratitude goes out to the defenders of our sky. Repelling the morning barrage, defenders with Operational Command East shot down seven Kh-101/555 cruise missiles over Dnipropetrovsk region,” he wrote.
As reported, overnight Tuesday, August 15, Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine. Missile hits were reported in Dnipro, Lviv, and Lutsk.
In Lviv, as a result of a missile hitting a number of apartment blocks, a fire broke out as local residents are being evacuated.
An industrial enterprise was targeted in Lutsk.
