Three dead in Lutsk after Russian missile attack - administration

In Lutsk, three people died as a result of a Russian missile attack. There are also victims.

The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Pohuliayko, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"I am at the scene of the incident. Unfortunately, as a result of the strike, there were victims. As of now, three deaths have been confirmed. A number of injured people remain in the hospital," he said.

Earlier, Pohuliayko reported that air defense forces were active in the region during the night air alert.

"Unfortunately, one of the industrial enterprises in our regional center was hit," Pohuliayko emphasized.

All emergency services are working at the scene, added the administration chief.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, overnight Tuesday, August 15, Russia launched missile strikes on Ukraine. The missiles targeted a number of cities, including Dnipro, Lviv, and Lutsk.
