Missile attack on Lviv region: Six hits reported, 15 civilians injured

Fifteen people were injured in a Russian missile attack on Lviv region.

Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, said this at a press briefing at Media Center Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"Today at 05:20, Lviv region was attacked. There were six missile hits, one missile was shot down. Fortunately, no one was killed. Fifteen people were injured, the youngest one is 10 years old. Five people were hospitalized. Fortunately, their injuries are not serious," said Kozytskyi.

He added that more than 40 houses were damaged in the region - in Lviv and in two settlements of Obroshyne and Zymna Voda communities. Public utility services are eliminating the aftermath of the attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, on August 15, fragments of enemy missiles hit apartment blocks on Patona and Kakhovska Streets in Lviv. A fire broke out, damage was caused.
