Russians shell village in Kharkiv region in morning: one dead, one injured
The Russian military shelled the village of Zaoskillia, in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region, killing a 61-year-old woman and injuring a 60-year-old woman.
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"At about 10 a.m., the occupants fired on Zaoskillia, in the Kupyansk district. Unfortunately, a woman born in 1962 was killed. Another woman born in 1963 received shrapnel injuries. The medics treated the victim on the spot," informed Colonel Syniehubov.
According to him, the enemy shelling damaged a private household, including a residential building, and a fire broke out in an outbuilding.
As reported, in the morning on August 17, Russian troops fired on the village of Kivsharivka, in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region.
