Missile strike in Chernihiv: Seven dead, 117 injured

As a result of the enemy attack on Chernihiv, seven people were killed and 117 were injured.

That’s according to an update delivered via Telegram by Acting Mayor Oleksandr Lomako, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 15:25, 117 people were injured in the terrorist attack on the center of Chernihiv. Seven of them died," the statement reads.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian invaders launched a missile attack on the center of Chernihiv around noon on Saturday, August 19. Seven people died. Initially, 90 injured people sought medical help, including 10 policemen and 12 children. Twenty-five people were hospitalized.
