Enemy shells village in Kherson region, injuring two civilians

Two local residents - a 79-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man - were injured in enemy shelling of Sofiyivka in Kherson region.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Two local residents - a 79-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man - were injured in the shelling of Sofiyivka," the report says.

It is noted that the victims were provided with medical assistance. They will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis.

As reported, on August 20, Russian forces shelled Kherson region 78 times, killing two civilians and injuring another three.
