Ukrainian military defuse almost 1.8 thousand explosive devices in week
During the week, specialists of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inspected and cleared more than 157 hectares of agricultural land from explosive devices, seized and defused 1,792 explosive devices.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Over the week, specialists of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Support Forces command inspected and cleared more than 157 hectares of agricultural land from explosive devices, seized and defused 1,792 explosive devices," the statement said.
It is noted that since the beginning of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, demining groups of the Armed Forces Support Forces have cleared more than 6,888 hectares of agricultural land, about 330 km of roads, removed and defused 110,669 explosive objects.
As Ukrinform reported, the Netherlands will provide Ukraine with about a thousand portable charges for remote demining.
