Ukrainian aviation has flown over 14,000 sorties since start of full-scale war

Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has flown more than 14,000 sorties.

"Since the beginning of the Moscow horde’s large-scale invasion, the aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has flown more than 14,000 sorties. Of them, 6,000 were used to hit the enemy, and about 7,000 – to cover fighters," the Army Inform reports.

It is noted that dozens of Ukrainian pilots have become Heroes of Ukraine, hundreds of aviators have received high state awards. However, Ukraine has lost many hero pilots during the war and also suffered losses among the personnel who provide ground support for flights.
