Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 261,310

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 261,310 Russian invaders in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to August 28, 2023, including 490 invaders in the past day alone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed 4,400 enemy tanks (+4 in the past day), 8,562 armored combat vehicles (+8), 5,425 artillery systems (+22), 730 multiple launch rocket systems (+2), 499 air defense systems (+1), 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,383 unmanned aerial vehicles (+5), 1,415 cruise missiles (+4), 18 warships/cutters, 7,866 motor vehicles (+12), and 809 special equipment units (+1).

The data are being updated.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations in the Melitopol direction, getting entrenched in the regained positions and carrying out counter-battery measures.
