AFU achieve success in Novodanylivka-Verbove sector, gaining foothold

Ukraine’s Defense Forces have achieved success in the Novodanylivka-Verbove sector and are gaining a foothold within the re-captured frontiers.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the Novodanylivka-Verbove direction, the Defense Forces have achieved success, are gaining a foothold within the re-captured frontiers, attacking the detected enemy targets with artillery, and carrying out counterbattery measures,” the report states.

A reminder that Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar stated earlier that Ukraine’s offensive actions in the south continue, and Ukrainian forces had liberated the Zaporizhzhia region’s Robotyne. Ukrainian warriors were advancing to the southeast of Robotyne and the south of Mala Tokmachka.
