Air defense forces destroyed all 28 Russian cruise missiles and 15 out of 16 combat drones last night.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny posted this on Telegram.

According to Zaluzhny, the enemy attacked the territory of Ukraine with cruise missiles and combat UAVs.

A total of 44 enemy air targets were recorded:

Twenty-eight Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 air-launched missiles were fired from 11 Tu-95ms strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea and Engels area;

Sixteen Shahed-136/131 combat drones – from the southern and northern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk).

The air defense forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with the air defense units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed all 28 cruise missiles and 15 Shahed-136/131 combat drones in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa, and Mykolayiv regions.

As reported, on the night of August 30, the Russians launched a massive combined attack on Kyiv using drones and missiles.
