SBU attacks ‘polling station’ in occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region with drones – source
On August 29, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked Kadyrov’s forces and collaborators, who were going to hold illegitimate Russian "elections" in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region, with drones.
As Ukrinform learnt from a source in the SBU, Ukrainian UAVs were launched to target a so-called polling station of Kamyanka-Dniprovska town just at the moment when the meeting of "chairs of precinct election commissions" of the entire district was taking place there.
"More than 30 traitors, who were guarded by the Russian military, including Kadyrov’s forces, gathered. During the meeting, they wanted to organize the distribution of ballots and voting booths. The SBU used combat drones to ‘adjust’ the plans of the occupiers," the interlocutor said. According to the source, the attack took place in several waves. Its exact consequences will be assessed later, but it is already known about many wounded.
"The town itself is surrounded by the Russian military which activates its EW systems, air defense systems, etc. However, they can protect the traitors only in words. The successful attack of the SBU is another signal to all collaborators that working for Russia is dangerous for life and health," the interlocutor said.
