National Guard shoots down enemy drone that tries to attack their positions

Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine shot down a Russian drone that tried to attack their positions.

This was reported by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine on Telegram, Ukrinform reported.

"While in a dugout, Major Serhiy Hyrenko, call sign Horynych, heard the sound of an enemy drone approaching, which he took as a call to action and immediately ran out and opened fire with an assault rifle. The hit caused the drone to be damaged and brought it down," the statement said.

Junior Sergeant Volodymyr Stadnichenko, call sign Khimik, hearing the shots, did not lag behind his comrade and began actively firing his weapon, which resulted in the drone being completely disabled.

As reported, aerial reconnaissance men of the National Guard of Ukraine from the Rubizh Brigade (Offensive Guard) shot down a Russian drone.
