Two killed, five injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

Two civilians have been killed and five injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On August 30, 2023, Russians killed two civilians in the Donetsk region, namely in Bahatyr and Chasiv Yar. Five more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.

A reminder that, on August 30, 2023, Russian troops launched 31 missile strikes and 66 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 53 times.
