Zelensky praises Kraken special force unit for exceptional battlefield performance

President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the special unit Kraken with the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry for successfully performing particularly complex tasks on the battlefield.

Zelensky issued his address via Instagram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Kraken unit of defense intelligence special forces. Particularly powerful warriors. Particularly difficult tasks. Particularly important results," Zelensky stated.

He noted the team’s efforts in the Kharkiv direction, in Soledar, and outside Bakhmut, as well as defensive operations in the Kupiansk district and the country’s north.

"Thank you, guys!" said Zelensky.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky said more than 60,000 Ukrainian soldiers had been awarded for their contribution in repelling Russian aggression.
