S-300 fragments found at site of strike on Nova Poshta center near Kharkiv
Investigators found fragments of S-300 missiles on the territory of Nova Poshta distribution center near Kharkiv city that was struck on Saturday evening, October 21.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv region’s police.
Investigators, together with criminologists and forensic experts, are conducting an examination of the bodies of the dead, police added on social media.
"Investigators, forensic experts, and explosives experts continue to work at the site of the Russian missile strike. At this time, experts of the explosive ordnance department have collected material evidence - S-300 missile fragments,” the report says.
Meanwhile, the number of injured in a missile attack on the Nova Poshta sorting office has increased to 16 people, according the Kharkiv region’s police.
"There were 20 people on the territory of the terminal, 6 people were killed and 16 were injured. Among those injured are men aged 19 to 43. They were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying degrees of severity," the report says.
As reported by Ukrinform, at least two explosions rang out in Kharkiv on Saturday evening, October 21.
Later, Serhiy Melnyk, the head of the Kharkiv military garrison, reported that the invaders attacked Kharkiv with S-300 missiles that had been launched from Russia’s Belgorod region.
