Ukraine downs Kh-59 missile, three Shaheds, Lancet UAV in past 24 hrs

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force jointlu with the other air defense elements have intercepted a Russian Kh-59 guided missile, three Shahed-136/131 one-way attack UAVs, and three Lancet kamikaze drones.

That’s according to the Air Force press service, Ukrinform reports.

Overnight Sunday, October 22, Russian invaders hit Ukraine with guided and anti-aircraft missiles.

Eight launches of S-300 missiles were recorded from Russian territory and the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.

The enemy also used a Kh-59 guided missile, launched by the Su-34 warplane from the airspace of the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region.

Also, the Russian invadsion forces launched two UAVs of an unidentified type from the north and three strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from Cape Chauda (Crimea).

The Kh-59 guided missile, three Lancets and three Shahed-136/131 one-way attack UAVs were shot down.

As reported earlier, more than 80 combat clashes took place along the frontline on Saturday. The Ukrainian Air Force 12 times hit Russian manpower clusters.
